A McCormick Foundation Initiative

Why News Matters

Common Sense Media provides free online resources and implementation support to educators and parents leaders to help them encourage a culture of good digital citizenship within their organizations.

Classroom and out of school time educators can select topics that are most relevant to their students and most urgent for their community such as privacy, digital footprint, self-image and information literacy.

About Common Sense Media

Common Sense is dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and technology. As a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization, we provide trustworthy information and tools, as well as an independent forum, so that families can have a choice and a voice about the media they consume.
