A McCormick Foundation Initiative

Why News Matters

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) will offer faculty professional development workshops on how to develop discipline specific course modules on news and digital literacy.

CCC will engage faculty curriculum specialists in developing courses and curriculum about digital and news information literacy. These initiatives will provide faculty with strategies and resources to foster a greater sense of civic engagement, news, information and digital literacy for our students.
